You work real LSAT questions for about two hours while an instructor watches and teaches. It shows us more than a practice-test score does, so we recommend a curriculum after the session rather than before it. It is also your chance to see how we teach before committing to anything.
This is one of the reasons every student starts with a diagnostic session. It gives us a first-hand look at your level of proficiency on the exam, which lets us give you reliable advice about whether, and how, we can help you reach your goal. It also gives you a chance to experience a session with one of our instructors and decide whether we are a good fit for what you are looking for.
Results vary with starting point, commitment, and timeline, but our students see an average improvement of 10 to 12 points. Many achieve larger gains, especially those who complete a full curriculum. Our highest achievers have improved by 20 or more points from diagnostic to final score, and more than ten of our students have scored a perfect 180 in the past five years.
No. We cannot guarantee that a student will follow through on the studying that happens outside our sessions, and how well you do on test day depends largely on the time, energy, and effort you invest before it arrives. We have helped many students achieve extraordinary results, including perfect scores, and by far the most reliable predictor of test-day performance is a student’s study ethic. That said, our tutoring packages cover multiple retakes. If you are committed to improving, we are committed to you.
Yes. We have offered payment plans on our tutoring packages since January 2022, and Klarna financing is available from the payment page for each curriculum. As a general rule, we offer refunds before the start of a curriculum in the (hopefully rare) circumstance in which either the instructor or the student cannot move forward, for example because of a serious health issue. We are a small practice focused only on the LSAT. We have three instructors, all of whom scored in the 99th percentile and teach the exam full-time. We do not hire tutors who teach the LSAT on the side, as most test-prep companies do. Our aim is a specialized service for students who are serious about improving. Your instructor will not only be good at the LSAT; they will be good at teaching it, which is a very different thing.
